SMMT’s free-to-use Automotive Supplier Finder (ASF) is the UK’s largest online supplier directory for the automotive industry, listing over 10,000 companies spanning 6,000 categories, including new technology categories relating to ACES products. ASF users can identify suppliers based on a wide range of criteria, including product categories, location and quality standards; and send a Request for Information (RFI) and/ or a Request for Quotation (RFQ). SMMT members benefit from an enhanced company profile and priority listing in search returns.

This EV Directory provides a snapshot of the UK’s capability across the new technology areas critical for the vehicle electrification transition. It is a showcase of the UK’s capability in EV component design, development and manufacture. The current version lists more than xx companies operating in this field, with almost every component and technology catered for, from cells and battery packs to E-motors and transmissions, inverters and control systems, to fuel cell stacks, hydrogen storage, EV HVAC systems, and wheels and tyres.

Our Meet the Buyer events are aimed at helping buyers meet suppliers that fit their particular needs at any point during their purchasing cycle. The events are regularly used by organisations of all types and sizes, including global OEMs and Tier One suppliers, to find new suppliers, connect with old ones or to lay the foundations for future partnerships. SMMT has a strong track record of delivering value through these events, in the last three years alone facilitating more than 350 business introductions.
