The UK’s future mobility offer attracts strong international presence

As we shift gears into March, we start with SMMT’s first major UK event of the year – SMMT Electrified – taking place in London. We are delighted to be collaborating with two international partners; Catalonia Trade and Investment and JobsOhio.

We will also welcome a delegation of Department for Business and Trade representatives who work to support British businesses in key markets. SMMT Electrified is an ideal opportunity to meet these expert contacts based in Catalonia, China, France, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Ohio, Slovakia, Spain, Türkiye and USA. Thailand continues to be a compelling market, and having recently launched a report on Thailand’s automotive market, we’ll be organising a UK Pavilion at Mobility Tech Asia Bangkok this July. Dubbed “the Detroit of Asia”, Thailand presents many opportunities for companies looking to enter this major automotive manufacturing market as well as the wider ASEAN region.
