
With hundreds of exhibitors as well as key decision-makers from leading fleet operators in attendance, the Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham’s NEC between April 29 and May 1, is again set to be the most important industry event of the year.
More than 15,000 people attended the show last year, which, as always, brought together a high quality selection of vehicle manufacturers, converters and service providers.
In the first part of our show preview, we take a look at some of the companies exhibiting at the 2025 event, which is being run by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and delivered by Nineteen Group.
SAFETY, EFFICIENCY AND FLEET MANAGEMENT
Fleet Operations will showcase its full range of services at this year’s CV Show, highlingting its expertise in the areas of consultancy, vehicle procurement, driver risk and supply chain management.
Products on display at stand 5F45 include the firm’s vehicle check app, designed to streamline daily compliance tasks by integrating essential vehicle data with automated features – boosting vehicle safety and efficiency.
Jayne Pett, Sales & Marketing Director, said: “Our flexible solutions are designed to keep light commercial vehicles and drivers on the road and compliant.”
Parksafe Group will present its latest Low Bridge Protection System, a new telematics system, and a 4G dashcam, designed to improve fleet safety and cost management at its stand 5D120.
Meanwhile, Podfather will be launching its Haulier Management System on stand 5B39 at the show.
Called Podswap, the system enables and manages the sharing of transport jobs between owner-operated and third-party fleets.
It also provides a common platform for job allocation, tracking, invoicing, and proof of delivery (POD) management, allowing seamless coordination of work and the provision of completed job confirmations to all parties.
Podswap allows jobs to be automatically uploaded and allocated, making optimum use of an operator’s own fleet and third-party fleets, and loads can be tracked, and deliveries confirmed using the Podfather POD driver app.

Exeros Technologies, on stand 5C50, will exhibit its AI-driven fleet safety systems via a hands-on demo van experience.
Over at stand 5F106, fleet management specialist Chevin will launch its Fleetwave Store, a new system enabling fleets to access industry best practices. Also, it will unveil an intelligent data management product designed to boost operational efficiency.
Rhino Products on stand 5F50 will introduce its latest vehicle accessories, including the MR4 Van Racking System, KammBar Black, and Kamm Rear Roller.
On stand 5D110, Trakm8 will showcase how its products are helping fleets gain a 360° view of their operations, all from one platform.
These include the RH600 4G integrated telematics dash cam, AI-powered Route Planning & Optimisation solution, and its Insight Platform.

POWER SYSTEMS
Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions, the on-board power and cooling systems provider, will present its enhanced eco-friendly product portfolio at stand 5E106.
Visitors will be able to explore the products through live demonstrations as well as vehicles hosting the equipment, and will have the opportunity to inspect Fischer Panda generators and the EFOY fuel cell zero-emission power solution.
There will be a whole area dedicated to Mastervolt power management products, and the Clayton all-in-one lithium power unit which made its inaugural appearance at the show last year.

WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT
There will be more than 20 items of heavy duty and light commercial workshop equipment from Totalkare’s extensive portfolio to see and discuss at the show.
Situated at stand 5D20, the firm will be displaying its mobile column lifts, as well as a two-post lift, vehicle inspection pit, mobile brake tester, tyre changers, and wheel alignment products.

VAN RACKING
Bott will demonstrate its digital handover tool that delivers full transparency over fleet conversions and build progress, as well as centralised management of all vehicle data.
Each day at the show on stand 5D10, the company will also host a live vehicle wrapping demonstration.
Integrated into its vehicles will be a range of roof storage and security solutions from Van Guard Accessories, as well as CCTV and safety systems from Motormax.

Experts from System Edstrom will be available to speak with visitors at stand 5E71 about its Systainer3 product featuring cases which can transport tools and other items conveniently from van to job. As they fit securely in a van, they keep everything inside safe from damage.
WEIGHING TECHNOLOGY
On Stand 5G40, the Axtec team will be on hand to demonstrate products, answer questions, and discuss the latest developments in axle weighing technology.
This year, the company will showcase its full range of weighing systems, including the 6000 Series Dynamic Weighbridge.
Other products on display include Axtec’s OnBoard Load Indicator, designed to provide real-time weight monitoring for vehicles on the move, plus its XA-10 Portable Weighpads, which offer a flexible weighing solution for operators who want to perform spot checks on light vehicles.
